Guidelines for submitting photo's to these web pages.
If you register on our forum HERE you can upload pictures yourself directly into your own Gallery, at least 10mbs of space is available to you. Or you can send them to me using the guidelines below;
1. Your scanned photo's or
ones from digital cameras should be saved as Jpegs
only before being sent to me as e-mail attachments. A description with the
picture will be very helpful. Pictures do not have to be Goldwing related to
appear on my web pages, any motorcycle or indeed any of your favourite pictures
can be sent.
2. Each picture file size should not exceed 1MB and several picture files should total no more than
10MBs. This is important because my server will filter out messages over 10MBs in order not to block up my mailbox with large messages that hold up everyone
else. Needless to say, I will not even be aware of your message if it is
filtered out.
I will contact you fairly quickly after I receive your picture(s) and let you know what page they are on. I will resize all pictures to around 150kbs as this makes them quicker to download for visitors when they click the thumbnail version. In practice, a 150kb picture on a web page will look just as good as one twice the size.
