New member here and relatively new to the Goldwing. Bought a 2004 GL1800 (non-ABS) in early October 2016 with only 26K miles on her. Been enjoying riding the bike and fixing a few small issues (sticky switches). Very pleased overall with the bike and how it rides, surprising for such a big bike!!

I also own a 2005 Honda ST1300 ( off the road at the moment while I work on her) and a 2007 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe.

Look forward to reading the posts and see what's going on!!

All the best to everyone

Welcome to the forum.

Dirty switches are about the only thing that ever give you any trouble on these bikes.

Why ain't we ridin'?

Welcome to the forum!
You will find DIY on switch cover removal, use of CRC (blue can preferred for safety of plastics) to clean and applying new dielectric grease
if the OE stuff has dried and caked- the root cause of sticky switches.

Once they are all working, use the switches when you ride- especially the odd ones like cruise power and emergency flashers.
Keep them healthy by using them.
