I really apologize! I've forgotten to check my "Notifications" lately, so slow to respond. That inline fuse needs to be in the main red power wire INTO the solenoid. Sorry to be so slow!

Hi, new to the forums here because of the not starting issue I have and wondered if you might help. It's a 78 gl 1000 and has the 30amp main fuse blade mod to it. I tried the
tractor mower solenoid but still only get the clicking at the it when I press the starter button. The one thing I haven't been able to
confirm, either by picture or description in a post, is about the in-line fuse you mention in your post. I've seen some pics where a
second fuse appears to be present, but no mention of this fuse being hooked up to the solenoid. So, could you tell me how you have
the in-line fuse hooked up to/with the John Deere solenoid? Appreciate any info and thanks in advance.
