Exhaust pipes

Hi!

The muffler at each side has tre pipes, but only one pipe is working. I want to cut off that pipe inside the very back part of the muffler so all tre pipes will work. Has anyone done so and what is the result?

It can be done, but it's a lot of work for no apparent gain. You can drill out the plate with the 3 pipes and just drill some big holes in the centre pipe, that way the fumes will exit the 3 small pipes. You won't see any difference by diong this though, it seems like a waste of effort.

What I will gain with that is only that I live on a 1 mile long unpaved road and that makes that 1 pipe is black and 2 are dusty grey. I think it looks bad and all I want is to have 3 black pipes. It has nothing to dowith the sound.
