My Wing speedo reads 70mph when it is actually going 65mph. Has anyone used a speedo calibration kit such as the SpeedoHealer? There was an article in Motor-cycle Consumer News about 3 months ago discussing the use of this product. Does anyone know if it really works and what are the requirements for installing the unit?
Thanks

Hey 39wldd This is a common problem on most m/cycles. The fix for this is http://www.blackrobotics.com/yb_home.htm Also have a look at http://www.jahlmandesign.com/gl1800.htm

I met a guy at the Seattle Motorcycle show who'd installed the Yellow Box on his 1800 and was very pleased. Said he could calibrate it right to the mark.

Yellowbox got good reviews on all the 1800 forums, I'm thinking about this myself as its annoying having the speedo and GPS giving different readings.

I'd just ignore the speedo and use the GPS for accuracy.
