Hi everyone, I've been trying to find some good old-fashioned plug wire, you know the kind with a copper core and insulation that dosen't leak if I'm riding in the rain. I prefer bulk sections rather than paying MH's price. Thank you, Bob
I got my wires and boots from a guy on ebay that goes by classiccycleparts. I wanted to replace the boots as well as the wires, and yes, they were the correct wires, although much more pliable than my old ones.
Hey NDAna! You been to an auto parts store recently? They don't sell bulk wire any more. Only composites pre-cut with molded caps and plugs for each vehicle.
JC Whitney ain't an auto parts store. Itsthe mail order K-Mart for vehicles!
Try Napa , I just bought some from them about a month ago. They will probably tell you they don't have it but if they look in their book they should see it.

When you buy your copper core wire its best to take a magnet and test the wire. I bought some off the roll from Car-quest,after taking it home found it to be copper coated steel. The salesman at Car-quest was as surprised as I was. I got a refund. The napa I usally buy from did not carry copper core wire.
We don't have GL plug wire sets listed right now, but if you still need them contact me and I'll get you a set. if you just want the wire without the ends, let me know and I'll send you a few feet at no charge.
Hey Andrew, glad to see you on here. Have sent lots of buyers your way. And glad to see you are carrying some stainless steel brake hoses at a decent price.
Thanks to you all especially Andrew at Classic. around here there wasn't any to be found I tried everyplace. Bob
