Other then the normal tire for the front of a gl1800. Is there a car tire I can replace the poor milage original equipment tire.

Now that the wheel nolonger rides on the side of the tire there is no reason to mount a standard motorcycle tire on a trike. Are there options here?

Nothing I know of will work other than a motorcycle tire. Most use a sport bike rear tire because it has more tread than a front tire. The Michelin pilot activ 130/70 18 is a popular choice and is pretty inexpensive (comparatively).

The front end is still a motorcycle. It is designed as such and will still turn and flex the tire in some cases even more than before. A car tire will slide more readily and for the most part (depending on sidewall) will not flex.

Ok that's my .02
