Lotsa people on here use Delo 400 some like Rotella too"the blue jug" Rotella just came out with T6 synthetic too. Its a true synthetic (also a blue jug) I just put that in my 1100. Somebody said a true synthetic doesn't work well with a wet clutch but I don't have any issues with it the bike runs, shifts, and launches perfectly with the Rotella T6. Amsoil? Great oil. I think its the best. I run that in my Harley. As far as the spin adaptor to run a car filter, I have no advice. I use the regular filter. I can get the filter at Walmart. I believe its a Fram CH6009.

Welcome from Arkansas!!
Q1. I prefer the longer filter for extra filtering.
Q2. As said earlier, many of us prefer the Chevron Delo 400.
WalMart sells it for $12/gal
