sure it's not the marker light..both should be on when the bike is on and maybe your turn signal is just out.

The marker lights are on in the front but the turn light on the trunk stays on all the time and the turn indicator on the dash stays on also. Is there a flasher unit on the bike like on cars.

You said the trunk stays on. Does the front turn come on at all? Or is it on all the time?. If it doesn't come on at all, Then change the bulb. I had car at one time that if a turn signal bulb burnt out, That side would not flash. This could be the same thing.

The front is on all the time so is the turn indicator on the dash and the trunk light.

If the bulbs are "On all th time" then I would look at the flasher. The switch just connects the circuit, The flasher regulates the blinking.

Ok this is weird it doesn't do it when i am riding it went off when i took offand got down the road but when i stoped and turned off the bike then turned on the key the right side stayed on again.Could that have something to do with the self canceling system buy the way where is the flasher unit.

I looked in the Service Manual for my '00 Aspy. There is no "Flasher" unit. There is a Relay that is located under the trunk. There are two relays mounted side by side. The one for the turn signals is on the right side. The one on the left is for the hazzard signals. They are the same relay. Try switching relays to see if that does anything.

I have same problem with left side turn signal indicators. Like that 2 days. So there is only one relay for both sides. My parking indicators switch is sticking. So I don't use it any more. Can that be a connection?
