just purchased a 01 goldwing 1800. will be putting on trike kit ("training wheels type") and need a shifter mod. electronic or other option. My question is on the main shaft out of the "drivecase" what is the degree of rotation travel to shift gears?

If I engineer a custom solution for my needs I'd need to know this.

Also, any recomendations for the trike add on? (Tow-Pac, Trigg, .....???)

It's hard to say the amount of turn on the gearshaft as each bike is a little different depending on wear and mileage. You would probably want to measure it on your own 1800 to be certain.

You would probably have to find the engineer that designed it to get that spec.
