I have searched and looked at the manual and the bike. I am obviously missing something and don't want to break anything.

How do you get to the left rear speaker? Mine is not working and i plugged up another speaker into the wiring plug and it works, so i know it is in the wire from the connector to the speaker or it is the speaker itself. I can't seem to find out how to get into that little critter.

Open your trunk look inside you will see 4 nuts take them off and you should be able to get the whole assembly out from the front. Hal

There are 3 screws under the speaker outside and one in the trunk on the inside of the hinge to remove the speaker only w/top cover/grill.

Sometimes it is a broken wire that was miss routed and caught in the hinge that causes speaker(s) not to work.

I was having issues finding that screw under the hood, so to speak.
I have a bad speaker! It is a Pioneer brand. I assume it is not stock?
