Navigation System 2013 GL1800

Like others I have read here, my navigation system now won't accept any maps from tripplanner(Hondas). It worked a few times with google chrome only but now that doesn't work. Won't up load the map although it says it has, maps aren't there. My bike is off warranty in February-do I take it to the dealer and ask for the fix? Can I expect the shop to know how to use it? I know they won't have a new system in stock so that will be 3 days. What do you guys suggest for options. I meant to get it to the dealer while on vacation but got too busy to do it. Now my time is running out and although I have another ride(car) I do use the bike as my daily rider.

Well I my opinion if you can't fix it with a hammer, it must be electrical

Back to riding after a 30 yr lay off.. Started with a 86 Magna 750 on to a 02 Shadow 1100,99 Magna 750,91 ST1100, finaly a 93 Wing.. and now an 06 1800 Loven Life...

This thread would likely get better exposure and responses if it were in the technical forum.

I can't help with your issue but there are people there that can.

If you don't have the strength to swing a BFH a hundred ton press will do.

Advise given here is free and comes with no warranty "Caveat emptor"

You have a month, take it to the dealer. If there is something actually wrong with it you have it on record, even if it doesn't get fixed right away.

Yes, today it failed 3 times when putting in a favorite location. Came up with processing and then went to regular screen with no route highlighted. Once I started moving, I stopped and put a home route in and it accepted that and then my work route which it took then. Time to go back to Honda and see what's wrong.
