The rear end only holds 4.7 oz of 80-90 HYPOID gear lube.
Ck it on the centerstand- must be level with the bottom of filler plug opening.
Ck it before draining- lets see if thats half your problem

Does it have a new rear tire? Excess moly70 (or higher) applied to the spline shaft can get pushed out.
There are 3 tiny orings inside the hub/spline/moly area- assembly, often overlooked at tire change!
