Just wondering what the mpg diff is between a 2 wheeler or a trike on the wings be it 1000,1100,1200,1500,1800 im curious and havent been able to seach and seek what im looking for.Thanx In advance guys

not a trike, but I only average about 28 mpg with sidecar attached to my 84 1200 standard.

I have an 1800 solo and my other half (Christine) has an 1800 with the CSC Cobra trike kit.

If you are just tootling around, there isn't much in it, but start towing trailer tents or opening the throttle and having fun, then the trike gets thirsty. Worst case, the fuel light comes on on the trike while the bike still has 1/4 tank based on both riding the same roads in the same style and filling up at the same time.

(When I stop at the petrol pump, she just pulls up alongside, gets petrol and makes me pay for it).

Thanx guys it was just another thing in the back of of all this mind of mine.I thought the milage might decrease by a third or more.
