Very nice bike Steve I have read the hole post from start to finnish what better way to spend a night.
Looking forword to see finnished bike.I agree with Greenmando B-Girl should be on the bike somewhere.
How's the finger? I had a friends dog bite the end off my finger and he ate the piece he bit off. That was june last year still sencitive.

My finger is ok but it is really sensitive to cold which is a problem here in the frozen north.

I would like to do a small B-Girl logo on the side cover but i will have to find someone with more talent than I have to do it. I will have to see how the budget goes.

Right now it's a strugel to find time to work on it. I've been working on the ignition a little every night and hope to have it finished buy the end of the weekend.

Steve

I feel for you. I drilled my left index finger joint with a #7 drill bit. After the reconstruction I could not hold a beer or reach into the freezer for years.

Yes. I did learn to reach and hold my beer with my right hand. My multi-tasking abilities did suffer. I can carry a 36 pack in each hand but find it hard to reach my wallet to pick up the tab if I have a beer in my right hand.  :needahug:

She's sitting there looking at me with that "you don't pay any attention look to me look" I took a regular job besides working on customers bikes and just can't get it all done. Every time I think I'm getting to the point were I'm I can  spend some time on her something more urgent gets in my way. I don't seem to tolerate the 14 hour work days as well as I once did ether.

I'm determined to rider her before the snow falls somehow but for today i have to go out and find out why my truck just up and quit and after that I need to put a new roof on a customers camper trailer before she gos ballistic on me and the there's 3 customers bikes that the parts have come in for and ......... It's going to be a long week end.

I'll stop winning now.

Steve

Work is work and normally comes with monetary compensationmost of us are driven by the coin .

Projects are dreams that come about in there own due time . The compensation for them is the smile on your face after/during that first ride .

The ride may not come before snow this year . But those long cold winter weekends could be filled with giving the B-Girl some love .  When you have time to do more and share with us , we'll be here to learn from your experience .

I haven't had time to work on it at all for a while and I've pretty much quit trying to predict when I will get it done, but my personal goal is to have it running by New Years Day.
