Hi, I have a 85' GL1200 Aspen, Low mileage, removed the Carbs to spray the engine..! now I have the bike Idle Erratic and also the Rht side is running warm as normal, but the Left is Running very cool at the exhaust tail piece..?

what could have gone wrong...? urgent

Do you have Spark on the left side? did you try new spark plugs? How is the compression on the left side compared to the right?

first thing that comes to mind is the intake gaskets on the left side are leaking,spray some carb cleaner at the base and see if idle rpms pick up

An air leak is a big possibility, and will mean a very lean mix in one cylinder Take neos advice and spray around the joints, that should find the leak.
