HEY EVERY BODY     :waving:

IS ALREADY 10 DAYS THAT I HAVE MY :15blue: YEAR 2007. EVERYTHING IS FINE AND I'M HAPPY.

I LIKE TO KNOW IF ANY HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE GPS BUILT IN. ON THE CF CARD IS MENTIONNED CITY NAVIGATOR EUROPE V8.00.

MY QUESTION IS : HOW CAN I CREATE MY OWN ROUTE ON MY COMPUTER AND TRANSFER ON THE CF CARD. DO I NEED ANY EXTRA TOOLS.

HONDA FRANCE IS NOT ABLE FOR THE MOMENT TO GIVE ANY REPLY...THAT WHAT THEY SAY.

I ONLY RECEIVED WITH THE BIKE DIFFERENT USER MANUEL..

ANY INFO WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED

THANKS

You need a card reader. Put the card in the reader and transfer your routes to the card via Mapsource. Make sure you don't overwrite the existing maps on the card, just tick the Routes & Waypoints options when transferring.

Mapsource is better. You can plan your routes on Mapsource and transfer them to the card.

Waypoint Manager opnly has limited options, Mapsource allows you more control.

This is all beyond me. I still use paper maps and memory. When I get my new 1800 will I have to go back to school to learn about all of these programes?

Good Riding everyone! I don't know where or how to post yet but I would like this question answered: I just purchased a holdover 2008 GW 1800. The Navi system has a CF card. since the bike is over 2 years old, yet new, has Honda updated the CF card for model 2010? What is the cost? If updated, is the expense worthwhile? Thanks for any response...

Here is the link to the update from Garmin

https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=10750&ra=true

It updates the maps to the year 2009. The 2008 version maps are from 2007. Perhaps someone who has purchased the update can give you their opinion of the update.

Welcome to the forum:waving:

Will this work on the US version as well?
