Hi Guys

Great Forum and learned lot's already.  I'm a newbie from Maui. Just bought a used 93 Aspencade.  I don't see any stub out pig tails for the intercom for the driver or passenger.  They maybe tie wrapped and hidden still on the bike (Hope-hope) somewhere.  I haven't pulled any panels off yet to look.  I know the stub out should be under the left fairing pouch but I don't know where to look for the stub out for the passenger.  I also don't have any rear speakers in the perforated boxes for them.  The previous owner said it was an option and didn't have them.....seems wrong to me.  Any help is appreciated! Thanks-Aloha:D

Welcome islander.

The passenger cable should be under the seat and the rider connection is under the left fairing box.

It is not uncommon to find a no-rear speaker system.  It is missing the speakers and the harness to get the audio up to them.

The plugs for the speakers are at your left knee between the CB and the reverse lever under that panel.

You are so lucky that someone took the trouble to hide them. I had to cut mine off with wire snips! I gave away the helmets with those microphone things too! The girl met some chick at a GWRRA meeting and was talking about how much she enjoyed chatting while riding. "my bike didn't come equipped like that"...."WHAT? HUH? Couldn't hear what you said!" repeat as neccessary until they get the message.

I just bought this wing a couple of months ago and have only ridden it sparingly since I was waiting to change both tires (finally finished that one) and change the timing belts! (Starting that one tomorrow). I noticed the plug pigtails but I have no cables that go from the piggies to the helmets. The connector looks like a standard 5 pin din connector. I can find those connectors to build my own and I'm wondering if I can just use some 5 conductor unshielded cable or should I get shielded cable? If I need the shielded stuff which pin shares the shield wire?

Hi all

I just got a 1991 SE .It has front and rear speakers , both working fine but I had the seat off and cant find the 5 pin din for the passenger intercom hook up.The driver one is hooked onto the clip on the left of the tank ( where it should be ).I found an Autocom box but no Din.Does the SE come with an intercom ? Any idea where it is ? Also the CB was removed ( cant think why ) would that be part of the prob ?

Any ideas ??
