Left speaker started to cut in and out over the last few months.. I'm noticing it is progressively getting worse. Any recommendation on known trouble areas to focus on before I tear into it?
thanks for any help,
Mike

| Sounds like the early stage of a speaker going out or a loose wire.

2 speaker system or 4?
Fader or no fader?
Helmet speakers work ok?

Yep it is a loose wire or connection somewhere. Kit

This is a 4 speaker system with fader. Rear speakers are from a aftermarket kit. Left speaker on the rear is not operational either. I've got about 4 years of use out of this 4 speaker kit so far... This might be a great place to start troubleshooting.
I don't have headphones since I ride solo most of the time.

| I did some basic troubleshooting... No luck. Looks like this one is going to involve taking off the seat and radio cover. I'm going to wait until the riding season is over for the year before tearing the old girl down. I will keep you guys posted.

| I checked all the connections I could without pulling any covers off (Including the main connection to the radio)... Since then everything has been working fine. I would bet that this is a temporary thing. I still plan to check everything over this winter when I pull the covers off to put in a new air filter.
