Although these state that they are for the GL1500 does anyone know if these fit the GL1800 as well ?

I don't think so Ron , the 1800 panniers are curved and smaller.

Ron,
Agree with Colin, the panniers are a completely different shape.
However, I do happen to know that they look quite smart fitted to the sides of a freewheel International trailer.
