Well finally start to buff out the gel coats on the molds.
This pictures shows the trunk lid inner & outer, also the part of the trunk that goes on top.

Finally the pain in the butt trunk box.
I have spent more time on this then I did the whole body.
It doesn't get buffed, just 6 coats of wax.
Haven't cleaned the 1st coat of wax off of it yet.

Wow!!
One coat polishing compound with machine
6 coats of High Temp Paste Wax all hand applied & hand buffed off.
Will let it dry up overnight, Then start to spray the release on, 5-6 coats.
That's about another 5-6 hours of spraying & waiting.
Will also start ripping the mat to get it ready for the 1st two layups.
Then 3-4 more layup after it has cured.
She's looking pretty, huh?

Having all of the metal parts, hinges & latch holder, Laser cut.
Still need to pick up all of the S/S nuts & bolts.
Don't know about power coating, may just paint.

Got the release all sprayed, 6 coats.
Used Black gel coat on the trunk parts.

Had to mod the body mold in the area of the side cover mounts.
The glass was not laying in the corner right.
Will be adding resin paste in the future.
