I would like to Thank Skoto1 For your Build projet being posted and your Help and encouragement with out it Id still be looking at my goldwing unable to ride it through your post and pm and friendship ill soon be on the Trike. believe me when its done Im coming to visit. riding again today very nice 65 and climbing and all sun. after air pressure change in the rear tires down to 20 lbs as suggested by lightin i'm not changing anything. still has a little wobble in the frontend when going very slow entering a highway from side road from a dead stop but only if there is a bad lip there. not bad at all. i believe a small steering stablilizer would do the trick but for me it ain't worth messing with. but if a new owner wants it tigher i can do that for him or her. pm me if anybody interested. 1500 project needs some funds  Last edited on Sun Feb 21st, 2010 03:08 pm by skoto1 ____________________ just do it and ask questions later. if you never start you'll never finish. i don't think an independent rear end would have this little glitch because it is not as stiff in the rear. it lets the whole bike rock where the straight axle want. my other swingarm i built let the bike rock from side to side more so it didn't have it either. but this is not bad and if you know it does it, it's not hard to control.

Was wondering what tyre pressures to have the rear tyres the Tri wing am building is a live axle so is 20-30lb the norm

i dropped mine down to 20 lbs. seems to work well. will get to do some repaint on mine as with the woman on the back i was trying different air pressure and burnt a spot on the right fender. well, live and learn. may have to put some suspension stops on the rear somewhere or just remember to run the normal air pressure when ridding 2 up. i wanted to 2 tone the fenders anyway. but not right away. will post some pics of the new paint and the suspension stops if i decide to do the stops. really sucks. the wife says i keep my cool really well. i told her see couldn't see me on the inside. the other side never touched i thought you could throw a cat between the tire and the fender. but i guess not. may just go to a smaller wheel and tire combo. that will fix everything. Eck,tyre must have been a bit warm.You can do your own paint repair,i would have been not being able to paint.

i can't tell now that i have triked it. ray1963 has one also and he has driven his all over you may pm him and see how it's affected his. i haven't checked my mileage since the trike build. but i will and see what it's getting. gas mileage seems to be pretty good though. i'm sure it will be less since i triked it. actually that was just a test on the picture capture program and it didn't work any better for me. maybe a different program. this is the fix just need to do a little buffing and stripe the other side. i think it looks better. this is what i thought about doing originally but didn't. and this pic loaded fine the last pic i took i had to resize same camera setting? You sure dont hang about Skoto with the paint sprayer i'm envious,run out of funds on mine now.Will have to wait a month or so to get the funds for paint.
