:whip::whip::whip:  I read about Hond"ass" requesting removing our old manuals from our beloved forum, so I started looking for them, and it appears they are already gone. I'm sorry for all the hard work and generosity those who took the time to post them here. Heck, you can't find a decent shop to work on your older wing, so now we can't have those old manuals? :?I tell ya, if I hit the lottery tomorrow, I would not buy another honda new.:X I love the bikes, but I think the Hond"ass"  corporate level sucks hard! JMO jimsjinx

Big business does not care one way or the other. You have the whole forum that they cannot stop. We are a whole organism unto ourself now and do not need mother honda.

Any of us can stand our own ground with any factory trained mechanic and win hands down. There is more of us and we can go underground if needed.

Kind of like the mad kid walking in the woods , hits a branch and it comes back and slaps him in the face.

Plus there is a whole bunch of parts no longer made,[ie electronic parts] that people are starting to figure out how to make.

I could see their point if they offer the manuals for sale. But I don't think they do. At least not the ones for the 4 cylinder bikes.

If nobody is making a profit from the material, why do they even care?

Looks like Helm has them all, clear thru 1010.  I didn't see the LTD or SEi supplement, tho.

Sorry about the long links.  I haven't got tiny url set-up on this 7 yet.  Maybe tomorrow.  It takes an amazing amount of time to get a new os set-up like the previous.  I be working on this thing for 2 weeks solid.

I have a friend who no longer rides, but I believe he has the LTD/SEi supplements.

9:30pm Pacific on the 9th of March and I just logged in to Goldwingdocs to see
if the manuals are still listed on their site and found that they are still there.

Honda has served a cease and desist order to Goldwingdocs to remove the
manuals from their site.

Yep, the manuals are still there. You only need to register for free.

So if you want to have them for sure, go there, download them and store them on your computer. Then you have it.

Many listed actually aren't downloadable. Try the service manuals, then try a radio manual.

I am sure there are many here that have copies.  I know I do.  That is the best way to get things.  It was only because they were posted all together real nice.  I remember the old site with them on there years ago.

If anyone ever needs them just ask.  I am sure someone will step up with copy of the file.

So honda thinks that if they cut the following to one of thier products people owning these bikes will get fed up and buy new.

But i say why would i buy another honda product if in 15d years i will not be able to work on it andHondawont work on it.

Is honda pulling magazine articles regrding thier products also.

There must be another way to share the info.

THey are still listed, but if you try to down load one they tell you they have been removed as requested by Honda.  They ask you to send a letter express your displeasure about Honda's request.  The site provides the origional Honda request and the address to send your comments to.  I think we should all take some time and send Honda a letter.

Take care all.
