I don't know about the kit; I only bought LD's manifold. I ordered the Solex 30 PICT-1 from the Speed Shop (as recommended by LD.) I had to find my own air filter and nuts to hold the carb to the manifold, although I probably should have asked the woman at the Speed Shop for everything I needed. Instructions are included with the manifold and a gasket came with the carb. I'm planning to install mine tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be plug and play. If not, LD is only an email away.

I stopped by the shop and he said alot of people are buying the carb from ld wings site. let me know how it works with the jetting. if you have to do extra advancing or if the jetting should be different from the .050 main jet that is refererenced. I had a muffler shop make me manifold but using the same carb. please send pics on here and let us know all the adjustments needed please.

I don't think LD site is up anymore. if you are lucky you can find one and battle it out with people on ebay. some people on the site have gotten the vw type 3 manifold and use a weber 32/36 carb. I was able to purchase a vw type 3 manifold for about $45. I pulled the old carbs off the bike and put them on a piece of plywood. traced around the intakes then screwed them down. I pulled the carbs off and left the elbows. On Randakks sit he suggest sticking the elbows and rubbers in hot water for 10 min to get them expanded and come off easier. might check that out on his tech site. I screwed the elbows to the plywood and took it to the muffler shop. they got some pipe and bent them to the position they should be. cost about $30-40. i bought a 2 barrel to one barrel adapter and mounted a single carb to it. I did get it running but time ran out and i got an itch and had my carbs rebuilt by pete boody. got them back the next week and started riding. I since then got a spare 76 and plan on fiddling some more with it later. there are two forums on here about single carbs. they have all the settings you need for the weber 32/36. I pulled mine out of an old pinto. then found a deal on a rebuilt picts carb that LD was using on ebay and got it and the jet that he used. I do have pics on of my setup on those forums. I assume you bought the CI kit with the Holley one barrel carb. The rebuild kit is close to a Holley model 1940 carb. That's the model number, not year. Supposed to be used on some jeeps, fords, etc... I have 2 kits, one is on my Interstate, and I'll likely sell the other kit someday. Since I moved up in bikes finally.

Since you haven't linked to the auction, it's hard to tell. But I bet it was this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-1100-Goldwing-Holley-Carborator-and-Intake-Manifold-/140691120975?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item20c1d8234f Yes, that one is a CI kit, with the Holley carb that is closely related to the Model 1940 kit. Go to an auto parts store and ask for a carb rebuild kit Warner part number 15507A Rockauto.com has them cheap right now....: Part Type: Carburetor Repair Kit Manufacturer: KEMPARTS Part No: 15507A Notes: Carburetor Kit HOLLEY EQPD Closeout Price: $4.72 Only 5 Remaining! 2/3 down on their clearance page. http://www.rockauto.com/RSS/vehiclefeeds.php?carcode=1109382&m=wc&l=en&html=true

Imagine that! The last one I saw on eBay sold for $640 plus not too long ago. If you want the manual that goes with that conversion, I have on here for download.

A steal it was. I went loking in the completed listings with how I would normally search for one and came up empty. Silcon Sam found it though. Good job. Here's a found pic of what it could look like when cleaned up, rebuilt, painted and in "as new" condition: Attachment: imagesCAN1B9F4.jpg (Downloaded 30 times)
