Just put new hd gasket on this week, cleaned carbs, put 100 miles on her after hd gasket and all was almost ok.  She was leaking oil around speedo cable at fuel pump, so I salvaged a part from old fuel pump, did not even take fuel lines loose.  However, a year ago i put on regular clamps, as opposed to the spring clamps that were on her.... must have knocked one of the clamps loose, cause after riding a couple miles from home, I saw dripping fire from fuel pump area.  Stopped along side of road and starting throwing all the dirt on her I could find, but to no avail... Was my only ride too..
really bummed.

Man, am I glad you're ok, but so sorry about the bike.

No reason for you to leave us just when you need our support to get over this and possibly back on the road.
