Hello everyone new member here and saving up for my Goldwing looking into either a 1200 or a 1500 having trouble deciding which one I used to have an 81 gl1100 a few years ago sold it and been wishing I hadn't since.

 Hello and Welcome . Best of luck in making your decision . The 1500 is a great bike and produced over 10 yrs making spares readily available . that said , the the 1200 is lighter more nible , i believe gets better mileage and nearly the same power as the 1500 . I dont want to be making this choice .

What I have noticed is that some of the people here were  's in their previous lives and can answer any question you have. The forums that I get the most from are:: Goldwing Technical Forum General Motorcycle Discussion Forum These have the best info about Goldwing’s and are where you ask questions and can get help.. For Sale/Wanted Forum Good stuff for Sale or if you have old parts sitting around the garage you would like to get rid of.... Well all looks like I found the one I am going tomorrow to pick up my new to me 86 GL1200 Interstate she has 95000 miles and has been meticulously maintained by her previous owners and even already has the poorboy conversion>
