This site has helped me a lot in the last 6 weeks. I bought a 84 aspy for $1500. It needed fork seals, wheel bearings, tires, paint, brakes, TLC. I did all the work myself with A lot of great information from here!

Thanks,

Its road ready now and I'm having fun.

New member from Indiana, been a wing rider for years. My present wing is a 1996 Blue 1500A, i have owned a 1100 and a 1200 LTD.

An alternator problem brought me to this site and thanks to all you good people i solved my problem without having to pay big money to a dealer.

I just wanted to thank everyone. :waving:

I love this site but my account keeps getting deleted.  I post like the instructions, and the same results.  People are responding to my post and questions, but they are getting deleting before I have a chance to review.  this is the third attempt!  Can someone help?

Hello, I'm a new wing man as I recently bought a 1984 Interstate. I bought it for $375. the man said " oh this thing runs like new, all it needs is a battery" I'm pulling the motor today. Seems no battery was just a cover for the fact that the primary drive chain is trying to fly through the side. Also the alternator sounds like a beer can full of nuts. Any way - hi- to all, looks like this may be a good site. Grampy

My understanding is that if you don't make a post within 24 hours then your account will be flagged for the next mass delete of non posters. It's probably useless posting after the 24 hours once you are lined up for deletion. There is a clear warning about this on the registration page and you get either an email or PM as well once you register, so there is plenty of notice and no excuse for ignoring them.

Anyway, looks like you got in and posted in time this time round, so welcome to the forum. :waving:

Andy is right. I've just checked the logs for your account and first time round you posted too late to avoid deletion. Second time you didn't post at all even after I replied to your PM and reminded you to do so. This time you got there in time. I've adjusted the script so that when it runs (usually twice weekly) it won't delete members who posted outside the 24 hour limit, once they post before the script actually runs their accounts will be safe.

Welcome to the forum.
