I just signed in. Bought a 1985 gold, goldwing over the weekend for 1K. It looks like it just came off the show room floor. Couldn't belive a bike that is 23 years old could still look so good. I feel like I won the lotto.

Thanks for the welcome. I have obtained a 1978 gl 1000 that runs, but needs a lot of work, and will be referring to all the good advice offered here.

hi new guy here, trying to sell my 1st goldwing but it wont be my last.
i got to enjoy her for a couple years and its time to try another bike.
but i tell you, i cant wait to see what they do to it in another 10 years.
20k worth of miles on here crusing around. it was a pleasure to ride, and i will miss it.
but no way can i afford 2 bikes right now.
well great forum you have here and if anyone is looking for information on a 2005 goldwing i will tell you, hands down from all the cruisers i got to ride with my friends.
euro cruisers, H.D. they all and myself perferred the goldwing hands down!
you wont believe it till you ride it.
and even if your young like me "37" trust me you will enjoy it also!
