Hello all, new to this forum from Southern Indiana and just got my first Wing, still undecided about it since it has stranded me twice.
I need an ignition switch in the worst way, and then maybe some floorboards would make it a bit more rider friendly.
Other than the comfort issue and the ignition switch I seem to like it quite a bit.

Welcome Tinman446,
I have a little bit of info yelnats69 contributed on my site about that switch. I don't know if it would be of use to you or not.
http://goldwingtech.info/yelnats69/faulty_1200_ignition_switch.html
I can say that I love my running boards on my 1500 if that helps any.

That was alot of help thank you, I have the smooth backed version and checked with the dealer about the recall and they told me "Your model wasn't part of the recall" so I am real confused about that part now.
I have a quick fix in mind to try while waiting on a new one, hope it works.
I have a friend that has 5 wings and he said if I put floorboards on it it will feel like a whole new bike comfort wise.
Thanks again for the help.
