A friendly hello to everyone from the NW corner of Connecticut. Great board and great info.

Got at a nicely purring '81 Interstate yesterday with a 100k on the odometer and other than some cosmetic issues, I felt that it was still a good enough deal not to pass up. Was glad that I found this board last night just browsing around a little before enjoying my fist real ride this weekend. Being that the PO never mentioned ever having changed the timing belts, I decided to give the old gal a short reprieve until the new belts come in and I can familiarize myself more on how to change them out. Hope I won't screw it up.

Welcome from Canada. Changing the belts is just a case of following the instructions. Lots of answers here if you need them.
