Hi to all,
This is my 1st Goldwing. I've had 3 other bikes in the past, all Harley Sportsters. I just bought this 81 Interstate a week ago and I'm really impressed with the way it rides compared to the Sportsters. It is in really nice shape, has only 31,000 miles on it and the owner I bought it from already put on new chrome valve covers, new timing belts and new chrome covers, brakes front and rear, rebuilt and sync'd the carbs, passenger floor boards and new tires front and rear. I don't think I did bad by buying it for $2,500.
Looking forward to reading and posting here and learning alot about the Goldwings.

Sounds like you got a bike that's been cared for, well done! You'll love the Wing, just no way around that.
