I just got a 83 1100 I Goldwing Interstate. I am working on getting brake work done and I have to get new tires. What is a good brand of tire for long rides? OH YEAH I am A new Member too.

Welcome airborneone, you'll love it here, Dangerous question you have there along with Oil * some other topics you will learn about, Perhaps post the question in the "Tech" form or do a search for tires & be prepared to sit back & do some reading.

hey everyone! comming to you live (ha ha) from batavia ohio, and wanting to say hello to all my fellow  out there in goldwing family forum. i ride an 03 black wing, and my wife rides a suzuki 1500.LC yellow and white. we have ridden most of the east coast and have ventured to st. louis to go up in the arch.  ive got pics but the site keeps sayin they are too large for the site. and i dont know how to make them smaller!  maybe someone i know can fix my problem.  so in the meantime, here i go up the road to see what i can see! talk atchall later......ALWAYS LET YOUR BACK DOOR MAN KNOW WHEN YOUR FRONT DOOR MAN IS COMMIN HOME!

just wanted to say hello, after selling my kz1300 in 83 i have just gotten my wing, 84 aspencade been spending last three weeks mostly cleaning due to weather. wife always said a new wife was needed if i got a bike but not only is she ok with it but says she's looking forward to getting out on it. last owner left it sitting most of the last year so it's taking some time to get it cleaned up and ready the road. max
