Hi, I am the proud owner of a 2006 GL1800. I bought it new after looking and thinking and dreaming about ownership for several years. I had smaller road bikes in the past and had been without a road bike for 30 years when I bought the Goldwing. I bought it in Raton, New Mexico and would recommend anybody to this dealership. You cannot beat the price they sell them for. I put 15,000 miles on the bike the first 14 months I had it. I would put more on it, but I live at 8,600 feet and we get a lot of snow. The only thing I am not happy about with the bike is the GPS. Garmin is good stuff, but they made a deal with Honda that set them, Garmin, back in history with me.

Thanks for the welcome I have owned my wing since 1996, and have enjoyed every single mile spent on it, boy I even enjoy the cleaning. As other uk members will agree we have some fantastic roads in the uk, sadly we do'nt always have the weather If I ever get lucky, my dream is to ride Route 66 on my wing, I live in hope. My average day out is around 325 miles, arriving home saddle sore but happy. My other passion is watching Valention Rossi, a style I can emulate on the wing.........nay problem. ( who am I kidding Look forward to getting to know you guys. Dave aka jovirossi46

Picked up an '82 GL1100 Aspencade today. It's more or less roadworthy but definitely needs some work. I'm getting a ton of inspiration from the projects on this site; I can't wait to see what I can make of my new bike!

Hi, My husband is the leader of two groups of riders here in SA and I have been thinking about getting a bike to be able to ride with him. Since I am over fifty, short..very short, and pretty heavy and this would be my first bike, someone suggested I get a trike. I found a trike on Craig's List that I really liked but I know nothing about the motorcycle that was converted into the trike. It is a 1983 Honda Gold Wing Aspencade GL with 36,000 miles on it and from the photos it appears to be in great condition. I would really appreciate any advice about this particular bike/trike. It appears to have the motorcycle complete but with two smaller 'training' wheels on the back. Sorry, I don't know the right words for them. The man wants $5,500.00 for it and some accessories. Any information you could offer me would really help. Thank you, Celeste

Hi Celeste This is the right place to get the info you want, but it might be an idea to post your request in the General Discussion forum too - more people will see it there! once again, welcome

Hi to all. Just bought a 1981 wing. Always wanted one. After servicing it I rode 1000 km in two days. Did 180 kph on some stretches. Kept on missing gears but will try the preload technique. Thanks to all.
