Just joined the forum....where is the oil thread???;)

I have a 1996 Aspencade - A 2002 Vulcan 1500fi - A 2003 DR650 Dual Sport.

Just rented a 2007 1800 for a trip all across (up and down really) California. Man what a nice ride!! Slow speed control and rolling through the twisties was awesome!! Just as impressive was the stereo. I am determined to upgrade my GL1500 to something comparable. Have been searching through the forum and have learned quite a bit.

If anyone wants to revisit the subject here, please feel free...looking for replacement speakers for both front and rear as well as an amplifier. I think I have all the info I need about how to get to the front speakers, but didn't find anything on the rear and have not taken the time to investigate myself.

Anyway, I'll be in and out of here regularly. Glad to see lots of activity on the forum.
