Hello.  Don't own a goldwing, but enjoy motorcycles of all types.  I do have a 78 xs650 that I am currently restoring and a 08 Harley ElectraGlide Classic that I absolutely love.  I enjoy all types of motorcycles so am looking forward to talking with you guys here about your rides.  Would like to know what you like/dislike about your bikes and will certainly answer questions about mine.

Welcome aboard, mavagrand.
You still ride, so you are just as welcome as anyone else. It'll be fun to compare notes.

Me too, I welcome you!

There may be all sorts on here, guys who rag on HD's and many that have wings and HD's.   Nearly all of the ragging is in good fun, though.

I work with guys that own hd, and we have a ball teasing each other... My favorite, at least once a week, is "hey it sounds like your bike is only running on two cylinders!"  I know, not real creative, but when you say it right...:D

My best bud at work rides a virago, another a nomad, and the third has a vstrom.  My production manager rides his wifes cm400t.  Awhile back I told him to park near the other scooters.  Its the motorcycle equivalent of the kiddie pool...:cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

In any case, its good to have you here!!!

Welcome to the forum from one of your local neighbors!!:waving:

Don't take the ribbing about the Harley too serious. We are a great bunch here and all said, regardless of what you ride, we stick up for other bike riders.

Might see you on the road one day.

Hello Mavagrand and welcome from Arizona. I have a GW and a HD Wide Glide.  I love them both, but for different reasons.

I don't have a Goldwing either, but I want one, so I guess that qualifies me to join this forum. I also ride a Harley (an 06 Electra-Glide Ultra) and I also love it. I've had motorcycles off and on for all my life, but this is my first big touring bike. I had no idea riding could be so much fun! I have ridden more miles in the last three years than the rest of my life combined. I love the Harley, but in the last few months I have test ridden a Goldwing three times. I am very impressed. I think I will probably have to have one someday. I'm too poor and broke right now, but I have opened a special bank account to accumulate money for that purpose. For now, though I ride a Harley and I love it, I have high respect for the Goldwing. I think there is one in my future. In the meantime, I am here to learn.

Rick
