I have actually been a member for a while but never put in an intro to myself.  I live in the east central Illinois area and have an '86 GL1200 Interstate that I bought new in '87.  It currently has just under 40K miles on it - hard to go on trips when wife and two daughters also want to go along.  The bike runs great, but is due for some maintenance (belts, starter, cooling system) which I am going to start working on in the next couple of weeks.
