Well I just registered as a new member to thiis site and would like to say Hi!! to all.

I am fairly new to Goldwings, bought my first one in April ,1984 gl1200 very nice put on about 3000 miles but got real excited to move up a notch so to speak, so in August I bought a 1988 gl1500 with matching Bushtec trailer and sold the 1200 and I have put about 2500 miles on the 1500,  well about 5 days ago a very nice cosmetic 1987 gl1200 came my way but it has been sitting for quite a few years and will need to be brought back to life, so I am sure I will see you in the tech forum and will gladly appreciated any and all help from what looks to be some pretty wise folks. I am in Beautiful northern California just miles from Mt. Shasta, Mt. Lassen and only a couple hours away from the great Pacific Ocean.
