Hey, who you callin a drcb UbraW  watch it now watch it now  Always trying to stir the pot ain't ya.  You musta come in late after the cartoon ended. Everyone was just funnin one another.   Besides, I think we ran off all the members that didn't have a good sense of humor a long time ago. Quite boring, I can't find anyone to piss off by calling them Turkey Lips no more.

Boy this site just about came to a full stop for awhile there. First it got slow then no connection. Still been an iffy situation. The server must have real problems at times.

Same here, I've never seen it go down this early in the day before and I'm on here every morning for at least 3 hrs.

I have been having the same problems here for about a week . After about 9PM eastern I get a white page  . I can get to other forums with no problem . I hope its just a teething problem with the new servers.

I agree and say, put it back up. We've all seen worse in our life and people ought to see the results that could happen even with the best of protective gear on.
Heck, just look at what we've had to put up with on the nightly news about the war in Iraq, much worse.

I didn't call him a SOB because the picture was or was not inappopriate... I called him a SOB because of the way he complained....I think he demeaned me and minimized my wife's suffering.... and I will stick to that. I do think he is a SOB, and if he ever talks that way to me in person, he's gonna find out how rude and immature I can really be.......
Now, I have purposely not publicly named him, nor do I wish to. I wish for this matter to drop, now and forever..... but when somebody behaves that way to me, I'm gonna push back..... and if that makes me rude and immature, well .... so be it.

I don't blame you for pushing back, jack. Know what I would do to that sob? Post his complaint. That bastard! Let everyone see how he demeaned you and minimized the suffering. If I were in your shoes, I'd call him an SOB too, probably go tell him to f*** himself too.

Oh well.
Getting back to the intention of the thread, I was really hoping to make this, because there are so many people I would like to put a voice and a face to, especially those across the pond. Even though my schedule has opened considerably since I retired, this week end is bad. I'll try to make it , if only for a day, but can't promise anything. Sounds like a great time. I am planning to do the Georgia thing, the first part of Nov. Suppose not many can stick around for that one.

Well, I'm gonna eat some crow here.......
I showed the pm that made me angry to my wife (she hadn't seen it before), and she told me that she didn't see anything demeaning or minimizing in it. She also gently reminded me that I am overreacting to everything concerning her arm. Probably because I feel guilty and responsible.... which I guess I do.....
So, I will apologize to the unnamed person on here that I called a SOB, and I will apologize to everyone else on here for lowering the tone. He's evidently not a SOB; I guess I'm the SOB.... which is okay, because I've been one all my life. Easy role for me. I will also admit that perhaps the picture wasn't appropriate for the board. Since we had once told Coyote 61 by telephone that we were coming, I felt guilty about backing out and wanted him, at least, to know why we weren't.......
Okay, to wrap it up, I'm a SOB; Mr. X is not; so can we continue......... please?
