No problem Sir Slink..... I love dogs and I am sure they will hand the chair over given my British charm!!!!:cooldevil::cheeky1:

Welll I am sure Helen will start planning now and aiming to find those cheap tickets, so far the best is about £800 return for both of us. Not so bad I guess considering the mileage.

You mean you're not going Redwing?????? I'm sure Cyote61 has room to land your neighbours' jet somewhere on his ranch :baffled:  :cooldevil:

The woman who hangs around here is urging me to make the ride to Georgia this coming fall. It looks like it'd be five days on the road each way, 'bout $1000 but might be worth it to see any of the European contingent in person, specially Helen the gimpy Viking!

If all goes well and that's a bit of a stretch from January, I do believe I'll give it a shot. I wouldn't go for the 6000 miles but since it's only 5500 why not?

Hot damn hot damn.:cooler: This is getting exciting. Hey Redwing, so no run way on the ranch but we got a nice little airport in town that handles private jets. If you got a float plane you might be able to land on the pond here, but boy you better be a good bush pilot. You gotta stop that sucker in a hundred yards. :cheeky1:

One good thing is everyone has time to plan and plot and scheme for this event. The help that has been offered by all is fantastic and I've tried to reward all of it with MANA, but you know that don't work.:cussing:I'm sure I will be accepting any offers of help we can get when the time comes. My email is in my profile and my PM works good so if you need any information as we go along, holler at me. We will make every effort here to fill the needs of everyone and put on the best Rally you've ever attended. I will also see what I can do as time moves forward to see if we can get special prices at the lower priced motels and the higher quality ones for those that want to motel it. We'll do the best we can also to hold your costs down for the event. There will be no entry fee and no camping fee, and no guide fees. We will provide a dedicated driver for those that decide to party and need transport to motels. More information as we go along. Thank you all again for your interest in this great project.:toast: And coke too :boo:

Now you guys have peaked my interest. It's a ways out and hopefully all my health issues are done. Besides, this may be a great opportunity to finally meet some of you. Sounds like a fair amount are planning to attend. I'm penciling this one in.

This sounds like fun. I just may have to come north for this.

Count me in.

You were saying something about a list of motels in the area?

How far is the Dragon from there?

Peter

Looks like you sparked some real interest Tom.  Are you sure you're ready for a big Ol' Goldwing party at the ranch?:band:  I'm going to work my buns off to try to make it work myself.

Has a formal invitation been sent to Steve & Ciaran yet?  That would be too cool if they could make it.  I think Redwing should talk his neighbor into dropping him off as well. :grinner:  I think we'd all like to meet him.

John

Yes, plenty of motels within 6 miles of the ranch. Most the name brand and a lot of off name brand. I will get the list up as time permits. Or google Motels in Calhoun GA and see whats at exit-312 on I-75. That is the Hwy -53 exit. It is a major travelers stop exit on I-75. :waving:We sure hope to see you here.:toast:

Hey John, I'm working on it:) Good to keep reminding an old man however. We get side tracked real easy. Sometimes when a pretty skirt walks by I don't remember what I was doing for days :D Of course sometimes I forget what I'm supposed to do with the pretty skirt either :cooldevil: This old age crap is a bitch:cheeky1:

So git 'er done Redwing.  I'm sure your neighbor would like for you to meet us too. :grinner:

As for the part of Hoss, unfortunately there's a lot of us that could play that part.  Remember the corn fed thread? :dude:  Except of course exavid.  He's a mere shadow of the man he used to be.

I would certainly like to meet you in person too REDWING, I have a bunch of manila envelopes I'd like to give to you. They're too valuable to entrust to the mail or  a courier service.:cooldevil:
