OK, since I started this I'll jump in with an update. Today is Day 4 and we took a day off from the highways and enjoyed southwest South Dakota. Saw the Badlands Loop, Mt Rushmore, and Crazy Horse Monument. Tomorrow we aim for Sturgis, Devil's Tower, and maybe camp near Gillette Wyoming. We'll see.... QDaddy & The Hag

He could use a quick visit.

Well.......we have had an interesting day including remodifying a trailer hitch, finding out the radio antenna will not fold down, finding out how actually how the TPMS system works and how accurate it really is, tybme's throttle grip, came off in his hand, a sick valk climbing the mountain, and fuel gauge that lies to Ty. Oh and ran through hail and was trapped and had to ride through it. Down safe in Alamosa, CO. Just another day Rhino style........It is definitely an adventure!

Dave made it to my place this afternoon, after being met at the border and escorted partway by Bob(96aspencade) Bob also gave Dave his SPOT GPS location device to give to me, so you can track our route out and back and then the rest of my summer's tour all over the country. Here's the link - http://www.spotadventures.com/user/profile?user_id=57951 .... but it's also in my sig line as well. We'll be 'outta the gate' early tomorrow morning, west bound and down. See y'all in Port Orchard! Dusty

Barb & I hold no responsibility or claim to fame for the trails. Unfortunatly we will be missing NASSIR4 but are holding all of you dear & close to our hearts.

Day 6 found us topping out at 9055 feet crossing the Bighorn Mountains. Still a good bit of snowpack above 8000 feet. It felt good on a 95 degree day. Then it was pell-mell down the hills alongside the rushing Bighorn River and a quick(as in hot & dry)dash to Cody, Wyoming. Rodeo is at 8PM then it's sweet dreams for us. We are getting "broke to the saddle" and we're finding the 100 milers easier and easier to do.

Fulfilled a dream today. Rode The Chief Joseph Scenic Highway and The Beartooth All American Road. Almost 11,000 feet up at Beartooth Pass and the Wing ran smooth as silk. Grabbed a bite at Red Lodge Montana which apparently had a recent security breach at the local insane asylum. There were lunatics everywhere! That little town was going bananas on July 4th. Wow! Anyway, back to Cody for tonight and tomorrow it's off to see Old Faithful. Dusty, please tell Dave we were only hurrying to get to the mountains. Now I'm dragging my feet and cliff-hanging. Oh yeah, and trying to wear out the camera.
