We are hoping to hold it in the upstate NY area of the five finger lakes ..

HOPEFULLY no one will loose a finger before then otherwise they might get lost looking for the 4 finger lakes.

OK-ok, I'll stick to my other job.

I like the idea of little earlier in the summer season & upstate NY. Only problem is we will NEED TO make reservations early. UNLESS whoever is the host can common-deer a piece of land for temp-campers & a shelter for the meetings.

Just my $0.0002 cents worth (after taxes & excise tax & luxury tax & gas tax & road use tax & landfill use tax & mic. user fees). No wonder I feel so broke!

Is Yaskers farm still available?

Either the week before or week after Sturgis might work, then the West Coasters could catch the ralley either going or coming back.

I was in ZION on Sunday, and I live only a couple of hours from the suggested venue, you can do it.

I know I 'cheated' and trailered to Colorado Springs, but that was more because of time constraints, we can get a lot further in a day with the truck than we can on the 'Wing.

That's kinda what I'm thinking right now, (providing next year goes better than this year did) :D A ride like that would take us more time off work than I can afford, but if we trailered it, we could do it in a lot less time, and haul all our gear as well :D

Go ahead, call me a wimp, I'm old enough now that if I wana be a wimp, I can :cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

Once MR Arthritis bites you in the hip and back, long days on a bike are troublesome, especially if it is cool weather.

Earlier in June would work for me (not that MY opinion matters more than any other) as I have a wedding to go to in that very region on the 12th. I may not be on a bike but being there is what counts.

No Arthritis, (yet), but the joints I dont have anymore due to fusion's make it hard as well.

Those dates are awsome Wexy, thanks.

Most likley trailering it to save time, but we intend on attending

Hwy, I don't care about no vote. I'm happy with the time frame and location. This way our son can come with us too and see some places we haven't been to before. Niagara Falls is only a day ride away from just about any place around the 5 lakes area.

Already checking out camp grounds. Some have a lot to offer but as for anywhere early bookings are a must. Some offer group and veterans discounts.

As soon as we lock in the dates then I'll start posting links to the best of the campgrounds.

One advantage to living near the center of the country, the Finger Lakes area is only a couple hundred miles farther than Montrose.  Should be nice!
