Whew ... close call, Bob.

Glad you both came through it alright. 5 hours of riding in the rain makes for a  l o n g day.:gunhead:

I am hoping to avoid the rain once again, riding to Anderson, IN. tomorrow. So far, so good.  :clapper:

Safe journey my friends. :waving:\

Five fingers is no problem for me here. One or two days closed is no problems here. Even the other one that lives here (trouble) would ride her bike there.Tony:waving:

The only thing I'll add on the "poll" or "vote" or decision or whatever is made as to where NASSIR3 is held is this.

I feel that ONLY places that have someone willing to volunteer to do the footwork involved in getting things set up should be considered.

I remember there being alot of "Yeah! Let's go here!" followed by "Ok, who can we get to do the groundwork?" last year.

Let's not have that mess again, eh?

In honour of King Wexy, I vote that we stay at the MIDDLE FINGER lake....:cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:..just kidding.

Ciaran, did you inquire about Yasker's Farm? I'm sure you can still camp there, if you ask 'em real nice. I'd be glad to contribute a pup tent for you. I'll make sure it has an indoor swimming pool, just like the one you provided in Ireland..:D

Oh, and bring your rock hammer. You can probably excavate around your tent, and find plenty of left-over "nightly entertainment"? :cooldevil: We'll all wave at you as we pass by, in the morning, having slept in comfy beds, rather than the infamous mud....:waving:

Ummm.....various sites were proposed at NASSIR2, and...well....the Axeman edited them down....sorry, all you headless motorcycle riders. :D

Actually, I think it was seen that there was a huge interest from the Northeast, and a surprisingly high attendance, especially from eastern Canada, so....

It just sort of came out that NY was a logical locale. I don't think the actual site is set in stone though, and "upstate New York" is a big, big place.....:waving:

Spot on Pete , the Canadains have been there in Numbers over the past 2 events and have had long journeys to get there ,so it was agreed from the first NASSIR event that we would move it around the States each year to try and facilitate all the members , The bulk of the people who actually use their bikes for riding are on the east side of the USA :) Not all ,but the bulk .

If we had a Nassir in Canada it might cause problems with going across the borders etc ,So we decided to bring it as close as possible to Canada next year and I think it is only fair to do it this way , (I am not forgetting the lads from Washington who have also travelled long distances to get to both Meet n Greets :clapper:)Ciaran

For me, the fun of getting there, is what it is all about. It's great to meet all you folks, from all around, but I like the ride, and it don't matter where it is, or how hard you make it for me to find, I'll try my darness to be there. "It's great to meet you folks"
