Check Wexy's first post but I think it ends October 30, 4 weeks from his post

I voted for a date, but any would be fine, just thrilled that it is being held close to were we can finally attend.

Cheers, Geoff

You can try Buffalo Wings from the Anchor Bar and Grill where the chiken wing thing started. A short hop away is the naval museum where you can tour a floating battleship and submarine.

I am strongly considering organizing a Erie Coast/vineyards/wineries ride. I know some real sweet country roads all through there... a great spot for a lunch stop high atop a cliff overlooking Erie...vineyards...wineries...hills...twisties...Beef on Weck...hometown locals backstreet establishments...

I know my way around there. Anyone wanna ride?

Something tells me there will be a number of rides to choose from. I'll have to split my time between family and forum, I dont get up there that often these days.

But I'm sure I could fill a day with country roads and never touch the thru-way!

Me too- I grew up (well, until age 11) in Erie; it's scary how I can "navigate" that place, purely on instinct, but I don't know the back roads much at all, so- sign me up! :D

Hey Maplewingnut- I too lost my chastity in the first corner, on my first motorcycle....oh....it says "comer" doesn't it?

Yup, it is all instinct for me too, but if I do put something together, it will have a route sheet. I guess helping to put on a ride every year that draws 400+ riders kinda cures you from shooting from the hip!

Route sheet holder...

Coming from a former Western NY'er...I think the folks that have never been up there would really enjoy staying in the Finger Lakes Area for your NASSIR 3 next year...and Niagra Falls would still be a day's ride away. I have vacationed at the Finger Lakes several times-gorgeous wine country...lots of scenic driving-and above all plenty of wineries :). I'd be happy to do some internet searching for gathering possibilities. If you guys and gals are looking for a fun place to relax & ride, without the bothers of a metropolitin area then the Finger Lakes is perfect. It is also within an hour or so of the Rochester Airport for anyone needing to fly in.

There's my 2 cents...that's where I would go given the option.

Have a great weekend folks :)
