Don't worry, I'll have a supply well in hand. This apple jack I can get is some really good stuff or I can get just the clear also.

Do I need to take orders? :cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

Just a possible clarification needed for some members.

Are there any laws that should be clarified?

ie Helmet laws, modulators etc?

Is NY State a "To the letter" state with regards to speed limits or are you given a few leeway?

Never had a problem visiting but don't want any either.

Nobbie, it will be everybody's responsibility to check helmet laws, etc for every state that you have to go through to NY but this might help people out.......... http://www.amadirectlink.com/legisltn/laws.asp

I never heard anything about a 4 inch square.  I think it is a misprint that should read 4 square inches but I have never heard of anyone being pulled over for anything like that.

It says 1 earphone only, nothing about speakers. Doesn't bother me anyways, in all the states I've ridden in I've never seen anyone get a ticket for helmet speakers or using earphones.

I've ridden through plenty of States and have never had any cause for worry on anything on my bike being legal, or not.

Keep within the speed limit, make sure your lights are functional and the "MAN" won't bother you.   :coollep:

I agree Ken, as you can see from my avitar, those maps are all covered on 2 wheels, only a couple of the US states to get filled in (we are working on it) and we've never yet talked to the MAN unless it was initiated by us. Most of them have never heard  of Tim Hortons :cool: :action::action:

I find that out on the Interstates, you can generally get away with doing 10mph over the posted speed limit(some states 15 mph), but in/near small towns, stick to, or even slightly under the posted speed limit! That's where the real speed control zealots are waiting for you. :gunhead:

Back in the days of the double nickel speed limits, I know that the NY State Troopers were very active in speed control, ticketing vehicles for doing 58mph! When I saw that happen, I made sure I didn't go over 56 mph on the Interstates/highways. I don't know if they have 'relaxed' any since those days, as I haven't had any recent experiences like that, lately. (must be 'lucky'  :D )

Ya, Bob, I have a few more states to ride through,  to complete my map, as well.  I'm hoping to knock a few more off this year, if'n I can leave the 'kids' alone by themselves, for that period of time. ;)

I emailed the NY state troopers about it once and the laid back reply was more or less "Don't worry about it."

As far as Speed Limits for Buffalo and area:  I travel that area a lot and I like to travel  SL +5 mph.  I rarely get out of the right hand lane at that speed.:action:
