Good point there, Bagmeister! Maybe we can flush that Kit Carson out of Richland county and drag him up with us. SB was about three hours ahead of me all the way to GA year before last. I'll try to talk him into waiting on me. I gotta confess that I had the notion the other day of taking the north route instead of swinging south in the summertime, but you know how magnetic Dixie is. I'm already getting restless for a little etouffe, crawfish heads, and Earl Dukes BBQ. We'll work it out to our advantage.

My plan is to leave Sunday, July 11 early, if my work schedule stays the same, with me working Saturdays. If I end up being off Saturday, I will leave early that Saturday. Either way, I'll be glad to hook up with you Wilt to ride together. As of now, its just my uncle and I signed on to go from here. We're easy to get along with. Our plan is to take it easy and arrive sometime Tuesday. John, we'll be glad to meet you along the way so you can ride as well.

Yeah Wayne, you're schedule is a little more flexible than mine! I need to keep my trip to a week. I hope I can leave Saturday, but it just depends on the work schedule. My plan is to take it slow. Only about 300 miles a day max. Hopefully, 3 days up, 3 days there, 3 days back.

My plans now are to leave on Sunday and motel that night. Should get to Hamburg mid afternoon Monday. I'll post my rout as we get closer and where I plan to motel at Sunday night. This way maybe I can pick a few of you up on the way.

I hope you're bringing your passport so I can take you on that powerhouse tour we discussed. P.S. Stay out of the NEXIS line at the border this time. I expect to hit I84 heading west from 684 on Monday or Tuesday early to arrive in Hamburg late that day. If its Monday I'll probably cruise the Finger Lakes & put up somewhere that night. I usually travel solo but cool company is always fun. Drop me a line. JK

Passport is always in the bike. You never know when the bug will bite when on an afternoon ride. There is always something interesting just over the next rise...

Canada is LOVELY, as is all of it's populace that I've met, on trip after trip. I'm sure they HATE it, when we yanks describe them, in such British terms! I think, though, we should have a tour of the "American" side of the Falls- we should ride out to mid-falls, turn on a dime (a wet dime), and come back to the US side (USA! USA! lol) Is everyone bringing their "Water Wings"?
