Late for school, see ya........

Whut choo talkin bout aksents....??? I happened to notice that I was the only one there without one! I felt completely isolated!

I hope someone in New Yawk has some guns for Wingnut Jr to shoot. I'll have to hire a truck to bring enough of mine to keep him happy. Let's see....I thought I heard somethin' about those 'new" states (New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire) repealing the Second Amendment......we'll have to research that....don't want to have legal issues.

Well, Dylan, do well in school so that I can see you at Nassir 3.

I dunno why some folks want to call them the Canadian falls, the border runs up the middle of them and I have always known them as the Horshoe Falls. I can share if you can.

No doubt the Canadian side has the better view but the US side is not bad at all if you don't have the best documents for crossing back.

:)

Thats a great shot of the falls Scott.

I wonder how far up/down stream you have to go in order to cross the border to see it from the Canadian side?

There are easy crossings near the Falls itself. it looks like a nice ride would be to go up on ths US side, cross just north of the power projects, then come back south along the river on the Niagara Parkway on the CA side, cross back into the us on the peace bridge. That could easily be a one day trip if you spend a little time to smell the roses.

Just my luck you would put me in a boat with a hole in it, and a shot glass to bail with:cool:

I think I'll go with DougW's advice,  thank you.

Ken's right- it's aboat a mile. I treated myself to the Sheraton Brock back in the late 70's, when I was just a "wee lad"...couldn't afford it now, I'm sure!

If you look at the picture upside down, it's sort of like the "black hole of Calcutta" but in gleaming white....! :cheeky1:

I bet you Canadians can't "turn your side off"- didn't we, back in the day? By God, we Amuricuns can CONTROL our waterways! :whip:

Dave, if you an Ken want to see it from the boat, I'm invitin' youse.....we can take turns, doing the bailing! :byebye:

I'm not quite sure why the folks are cheering, at the end, there....apparently they aren't the boat's owners??

If you want a real boat ride while at NASSIR try this.  I've been on it twice and it's great.  You can see the powerhouse where I work and the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge at about 30 sec. into the video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3niPgw-uwpM

P.S.  You'll notice right at the end they also have a covered boat for the wimps.
