Tried that today, our computer guru at work tried to get it to upload and emailed it to himself and it didn't work. Guess I should have taken a camera. Didn't want to get my video camera out of the bike and take it into the store.

Well, it wasn't a pie run, but Gotcha,Chromo and myself had some chicken in Springfield, Missouri.

It was 28 degrees for a while when we first pulled out, but warmed up to the high 60's by mid day.  On the way to meet Chromo we had to ride Push Mountain,  it was really the best way to get there... honest ... :raspberry:

After meeting up we all took Hwy 160 west, then went north on 125.  Wow what a road!!

Anyway, it was a good day even though we did not find any pie.  Maybe we can do that tomorrow.

Looks like someone took a nice ride.

I only could watch about half though, my internet connection is not so good and it kept buffering too much.

Kinda spooky watching going into a turn and suddenly half way through you suddenly stop dead still and hang at a 45 angle. I kept expecting you to just fall over
  Darned buffering!

Hey, 22 days and no word on PIES?

No pie for me, but I got out for about 300 miles on the clock yesterday. No place to go so just a big circle. Got real nice and warm yesterday around here, great weather around 70F and today should be around 74F they say.
Would have rode, but nowhere to go this morning at 4AM so I did some work instead.
Heading out soon, somewhere, anywhere.
10AM so a late start already for me.

A pie run might be a nice thing to plan soon?
I think the weather around me is suppose to be mid to high 50's for awhile after today. Still nice weather for while.

Yesterday I learned there is no pie in Snowball, Granny Creek, nor in Tilly. And there is no pie in Copeland and well as no premium gas in anyone of those places. Then there is no pie in Oxley or Alco and no gas, but in Timbo you can get regular and nabs with a diet dew to save your life. And even a wet paper towel to stop the flow of blood! Premium gas is becoming a real problem to get in most towns under a couple thousand population. I saw enough twisty's yesterday to keep me happy for weeks.

Could have had pie a few miles from the house! :waving:

Well, did almost 800 miles yesterday and today, but did not get any pie.  :sadguy:

Had a good burger in Timbo today!  So I guess that sort of makes up for it.

I don't know the name of the place, but I can tell you where it is ...  when hwy 263 turns north out of Timbo, the cafe is on the right, on the north side of highway 66.  It sits high above the highway and the parking area and drive is all gravel.

I had a double cheesburger and have to say it was pretty good.  They have a one pounder that I did not try.  Maybe you can handle that one and tell us about it!

Anybody going for some pie tomorrow (Saturday)?  Weather is looking pretty good, high in the 60's with very little wind?

If nothing else, I may have to make a run up to Oark, been wanting to try their chocolate pie.  Anybody??

That place is called the Dairy Bar or something close to that. It was locked up tighter than a drum day before yesterday when I stopped so I grabbed the nabs at the store across the street. I will try it next time through. Can't go pie run down your way on Saturday, I'm making a run up to Springfield for lunch. Hope this wind up here lays down by then.

Yes, I remember seeing a sign that had winter hours on it ... I believe he is open most days from 10:00-3:00.  Don't know when that will change>

I ride for FOOD!

Where is this Timbo? I'd probably try that one pounder, does it come with fries? LOL

Only about 100 miles rode today. Met wife at work, left wing and took car to shop for groceries about 50 miles away. $200+ later we got back to my bike and I rode home. A bit extra here and there also.
Wife should know by now it is dangerous to let me shop for food LOL

I plan on riding Sunday. I might be persuaded to go tomorrow too but I probably shouldn't, have been a little under the weather and should take tomorrow to recover a little. If I stay at home I probably won't stay in the house anyway, can't stand just sitting around in the daylight.
It's about 3 hours to Oark for me, what time did you plan to get around?

I was not going to get out real early this time.  But could probably be talked into it for a piece of chocolate pie.

Wouldn't want to be responsible for a relapse in your health, but ...

You'll missed a good pie run ... we were even able to run the lower part of hwy 123 and took a ride over Mt. Magazine.

BTW: the pie was good to.

OK, I need a new 1500, but I have the 1100 on insurance now today, and will register this coming week.

I NEED PIE!

I need somewhere to ride this week.

Is the Pie runs over, or are we going to do this thing? LOL
