Mighty, I got my bike towed in on Olive's 1st ride & had 'em put in a Comp-U-Fire and AGM batery (dry cell).  I think the labor was about an hour.

I didn't have fuse, wiring or any diagnostics done, though.

Gotta love those AGM batteries, no trickle charges or water. Mine is 4 yrs old now & not even a hiccuup, yet.

Cycle Max sells the combo at http://www.cyclemaxohio.com

I got my AGM off ebay (forgot the name, but it is orange), the size is the one for the Honda Civic.

Need to make sure it is a reputable dealer/seller so you get a fresh one, there is a code on the side for manufacture date.

It will be good to see Sophia back on the road !!!!  :jumper:

So the other day one of the Rhinos made note of riding one of the Kansas Byways. So I Googled it, and there are several.
Located in Mo. I had not heard of them before. So any chance that a Rhino has done these and how about pulling a couple of them together for a good days ride.
Just a thought?????????
Making plans to go pick up the trailer in Little Rock Ar.in late March. Then headed to Witchita Falls Tx to visit relations for a day. Then back to Mo.
Just hope that the weather is good that week.

I (and I know several others) have ridden many of these roads many times as they are some of the best roads in Kansas. It's a great idea to string some of these together.
For those of you wondering what the KS Byways are - here is a link. http://www.ksbyways.org/
Also there is a website out there dedicated to good motorcycle roads. Here is a link to that. http://www.motorcycleroads.com/Routes/Kansas_92.html

We'll have to see about putting together something Mechtech1 -great idea!

My favorite is still the Glacial byways (hwy 7), up to 4 State Lookout, along the shade & MO River to Rulo, NE over to Mo and back down to the bridge in Atchinson.

We used it for our very first '0fficial' ride as "KANWINGS"... even before we became Rhinos, the following Memorial day.

Hey Popeye, That is up here yonder in my neighborhood. Maybe I could host a little Kanwings/Wild Rhino gathering up here and we could do that ride. I enjoy that ride and have found a few nice backroads getting to hwy 7 and back down through St. Joe and Atchison. Maybe a weekend sometime in April or May (hopefully before the Mo River decides to go out of it's banks). Stay here in Holton, I am webmaster for a local Hotel know the owners very well, maybe I could work out a rate for a Sat. night. Whaddya think?
