Ok Pete, the rides yours, I'll add it to the itineray now...

CB will be alright on the island not much use in the hills. I'll do Helen the Viking a map and directions that she can stick to you back so that ole GPS does not get you lost.

:coollep:

So how about getting REDWING to attend :baffled:

You could threaten to take his MANA away, or demote him to "Forum Busybody" :cheeky1:

I think Foxy was reading them the wrong way round, i.e. looking at the crossings from our side of the Irish Sea. :cheeky1:

We used Stena this year and got away with the trailers outbound. On the return they caught us, but they only charged £22 per trailer, unlike some ferry companies who fleeced Shrek Snr and Foxy

Please note the dates are based on a theoretical date, which has not yet been confirmed.

Thats a good idea tanygaer :clapper: best stick one of the slower colours out in front. I would suggest :15white: or :15green: or :15grey: or Silverfox sitting on his :18grey:

That will be why the quad bike and motorcycle track is so well used then, no rubbish on the TV to give the kids square eyes. :D I just saw the pics of the tin lids getting muddy on the bikes, Seems even the MIL isn't averse to a bit of mountain climbing, from the shots I saw!!!

I could quite happily live somewhere without telly, as long as the broadband comes in somewhere.

It looks good if the Irish contingent could cross on one of the 08.30 ferries, I reckon Helen could be up and ready to greet them by the time they dock.

Let's hope the Welsh kids, don't enjoy the same high jinks that Irish ones do. They tend to get their fun from turning all the road signs round, so as to confuse the heck out of us Johny Foreigners!!!:gunhead:

I vote Miss Tanygaer to lead the ride outs, after all she can read the signs and probably knows if any of the lads at school have turned any round. :cheeky1:

REDWING I am most dissapointed I was looking forward to you and I going out on our own private rideouts - I know your Honda 50 is in the fastest colour but I bet my Jogger would have kept up....

Or if you had managed to borrow your nieghbours Fastest Colour 1800 we could have had some really wild times......

Never mind I'll content myself with teaching Silverfox and geordiemuppet and prehaps wexman some of the neat tricks I've learnt to do on a quad.

Yes that would be the one Tanygaer. I am up for a bit of a dirt under my nails on the track. I just hope my old bone can still stand it, the last time I went off road on a bike, my leg ended up in plaster. That taught me not to try and keep up with the youngsters!!!

A quad sounds safest to me, I stand a chance of surviving on one of those. Took Helen the Viking on a quad bike experience for our first date... how romantic was that!!!:kissing:

Old Redwing will be missing out yet again!! He keeeps getting these great offers from the young ladies, the grumpy old git might be fit as a fiddle, but he has surely lost his marbles!!!:baffled::jumper:

That looks like the bike for me!! :D

One thing's for sure, the Wing won't be playing in the mud, they don't do mud too well from my experience. Trying to reach some friends in Rhandirmwyan (sp?) near Llandovery, who lived up a mountain on a remote farmstead!!! That was back in the day, on an old GL1000 fully loaded!!! not big and not clever.

Is that right, Silverfox? You guys with all the radios and sirens blaring all the time drowned out my poor little pipes on more than one occasion.

I may have to change the drag pipes to megaphones to keep up with you noisy articles. :cheeky1:

Hi Phil

Yep as soon as the dates are nailed I'll be listing as many local B&B's as I can find, they are few and far between, until you get into Caernarfon which is about 9 miles or a £10 taxi fare.

Other than that I can let the grass grow longer to give you a softer site .... :coollep:

Found myself looking at tents today, at my age. I hope it is just a passing phase.

Is there not a Pontins, Hilton or some other establishment with waitress service close by?:action:

How far off the beaten track is this place?

Rest assured we have enough hard standing to satisfy all the wings that will turn up! those that are pulling trailers are not a problem we have a tractor 'TOM' which will pull your trailer to where ever you want it. !!!!!
