Joe,

The way to have a meet n greet in Scotland is for someone in Scotland to organise it.

I take it you are volunteering for 2010?

Papajoe- Oh YES, please! :cheeky1: :cheeky1::cheeky1:

It needn't be you, specifically, but....if you can see your way to hosting a reunion, or find some other "designated foolish git", I would be "all in" for Scotland, next summer (2009) or the following year.

I'm being quite brazen in assuming that's a possibility, as transcontinental airfares may go to 2000 quid each in summer, petrol to a mere 50 quid per litre, and a muffin at a UK lay-bye to 10 pounds each? :cooldevil:  Don't laugh; the muffins were nearly that, on the way to Ireland! :dude:Even the noble Viking choked..."3 quid, for THAT?" ha ha ha

I am still waiting for Mr. Silverfox and Ms. Viking to "evict" my motorbike, as well! :realshocked:

I regret to say that I'll no doubt have to wave off, on IOM...:crying:I don't earn any paid Holiday until 1 July each year.  Besides, I have my heart set on attending the actual TT, and watching completely insane people crashing into very unforgiving stone walls..  Do they call upon the crowd?  "I beg pardon, but is any spectator willing to transport this broken (.........) to hospital? :cooler:  I've basic "First Aid" and I know how to give artifical respiration, so, I'd be terrific, I'm sure! Are you still permitting the "pre-cardial thump" (give 'em a good whack in the chest)? What fun!

I will miss you all, sorely, but I'm sure I won't be sorely missed! hahaha  I try not to be another American ARSE......, but hey, we are who we are!

Scotland (you are promising at least intermitent sun? hehehe) - sign me UP!

Hi Guys,

Some if not most of you will know that we took a young man on called James because he had been having some troubles at home which culminated in the silly B**CH of his mother kicking a 15 year old out on the street, so the short part of the story is he choose to live here with us.

I am now reliable informed that the silly B**CH has found out all about the MEET N GREET being held here at Tan Y Gaer this summer, further I have found out that she is also reading this thread avidly trying to accumulate enough evidence of some kind of wrong doing to stop the event, and or have James forcibly removed from here during the event.

This stupid B**CH is named Michelle, HI Michelle.
Guys do me a favour and send the Lady, I do use that term loosely an email explaining what a MEET N GREET is. mailto://millieadra@virgin.net

Hi Michelle

this is what bikers do, I hope this is the kind of evidence you are looking for - look how BAD the members on this forum really are:

http://www.goldwingfacts.com/forums/view_topic.php?id=26358&forum_id=3&highlight=my+car+stolen

make sure you read the whole thread, that way you will really get the flavour of what we are like!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and read this too  - this should be more than enough evidence for you:

http://www.goldwingfacts.com/forums/view_topic.php?id=8864&forum_id=4&jump_to=92710#p92710

If you need any more, just send me a PM, I will gladly supply!

Karen

I have managed at great expense to secure a supply of those little yellow ear plug thingies that they wear on building sites, anyone wanting a set just PM me and I'll have um ready, if you could return them after use please as I understand that the Renowned singer is intending on putting in an appearance at the Blackpool light show and the IOM 2009.

Thank you

Manx Black Cat- well, I love music...(nearly) ALL music!  I even love some truly BAD music, as long as it doesn't go on, all night! :dude:

So, I'm looking forward to your "Concierto de Manx".  To what may we compare it? A chorus of cats? (No, not "CATS" the musical; I'm talking about the cats that howl in my backyard, each evening!  :cheeky1:)  Or, perhaps, some hotentot tribesmen chanting in their clicking language, whilst drumming on a hollowed out stump? :clapper:What fun!  And....erm....cultural! :cooldevil:

David, thanks, but....I have my own yellow ear stoppers; I won't forget them! :action:
